Any thoughts or updates on the Android Version
Loved this update; the Paige puzzles felt a bit too difficult at the beginning but I got to learn a foolproof method to solve sliding-block puzzles so that’s kind of nice. The reward was very cute and worth it, too. The dialogue is as sparkling as ever. Keep up the great work, can’t wait for the next update. <3

Hmm.
Ever since I announced that I'm likely done updating Stranded in Space on Itch, I've been seeing a ton of comments like yours.
I want to believe it's out of the enjoyment you get from playing the game, which I appreciate.
But it also seems like everyone thinks I'm doing this by choice. I'm not. I quite enjoyed the situation I had on Itch. The community, especially. I didn't change the rules randomly; Itch did. These changed rules didn't just hurt me financially; they made it nearly impossible for me to release my game here on Itch without risking a ban from Paypal (and I've already been banned from Stripe due to this).
Lastly, I've offered every update/version of my game for free here on Itch. From the base game all the way to Day 16.
I am not trying to abandon anyone. I don't like this situation either.
Whats the difference between compressed and uncompressed
Like 5% quality difference. It's close to impossible to notice the difference, even if you zoom in on the images. There's no quality change in the animations.
I'd only recommend downloading the uncompressed version if it's a mental, can't-get-past-the-idea-that-it's-compressed kind of thing. Otherwise, compressed is 100% the way to go.
what is the version number of this update? i already have a file for version 1.5, but i dont know what "days" it is.

Days 1-16, I think the update version is 1.7? I'm actually not entirely sure, but I want to say it was after 1.5.

Too bad. I loved your game but sady because of some nonesense steam isn't giving the option for wishlisting or buying those games at our country.
I understand what Itch did was... unpleasant. But, I already paid for the game once, I'll not be purchasing it again on steam. I hope it works out for you and the game. It's a lot of fun to play.
I wishlisted on steam. Would hope there is a way you could keep going here, but its understandable if you cant. Either way i really have liked what I've played so far on Android. Keep up the great work.
I've seen some creators do a patreon or a ko-fi, if that is how its spelled, and give like 2 weeks to a month early access for the supporters that way it still helps woth development, but is still available on other platforms as well.
I'm definitely not going to stop making the Android version of the game. I appreciate your suggestion.

i wouldnt support the political extremists who run patreon, even if it was to get free stuff. at least itch only did this because they were forced to by banks that employ the same kind of political extremists who work at patreon. patreon engage in censorship willingly and enthusiastically .. remember - on patreon, if its got big eyes, its considered a child, regardless of those DD breasts ... "japanese style anime" = child porn to patreon
Understandable, if a bit of a bummer. Hope something can be done for the people who bought it here already, but if not so be it, however unfortunate.
Playing Mac version, game crashes after AIM chat with Nemy.
"While running game code:
ScriptError: could not find label ' after_nemy_d14_convo'. "
There's a patch included in the set of free downloads that fixes the issue.
